WHAT MAKES VITTORIA SMILE (APART FROM US, OF COURSE)

We work with fabulous people and nothing makes our heart beat faster than making them happy. But we can't take all the credit. So here we meet with the wonderful Vittoria Solano from LoveComo to find out what really makes her smile:

Our lovely client (and friend), Vittoria from LOVECOMO
So, if you had to pick a film that makes you smile what would it be and why?

Notting Hill, because I love seeing Portobello, I used to live nearby when I lived in London and I'm a sucker for Hugh Grant movies!

NOTTING HILL - Walk through the Seasons
What is the one item of food that is guaranteed to make you happy?
And where is your favourite place that serves it?

Gaeng Kiew Wan Khung (Green Curry Soup) from CafeThai in Como.
(Ps. We've added a green curry recipe here... in case your mouth is watering like ours is!)

What actor is the one you'd search for to make you laugh and what is it about them?

Difficult one... I don't really like comedy (I know I'm weird!). I do enjoy watching Paola Cortellesi. She is an Italian actress that does "serious comedy" as in "I'll smile if I have to!"

Ms Cortellesi masters the evil laugh!
What song is guaranteed to make you smile?

Simple. Anything Supertramp!

Where in Como makes you sigh with happiness? What's so special about that particular place?

Walking to the lake front early in the morning and enjoying the calm lake before anyone else! Or up at our mountain house with the lake at our feet 1000mt below us...

Any hobby or past time you have that makes you happy?

Cooking, walking, reading a good book and spending time with my friends (not done enough of the last one in this past year).

What's the loveliest surprise you've ever received that made you smile?

My 51st surprise birthday! Especially as 50 was pretty crappy, mid pandemic and working to 10pm meant I didn't make my own birthday in time! Having a high season birthday (July) and working in hospitality and villa rental do not combine easily!

Do you have a favourite product of Italy (car, designer, chef) you think Brits should know about?

I'm not much into designer products or cars but I love food... and Espresso coffee, short and quick standing up at the bar, is a good moment in my day! Illy Coffee is the best too, by the way.

Finally - if you had to choose one video from the wall of smiley faces on the STICKY homepage what would you choose?

I choose two! The dog that got in the garbage... and the BBC News with the little girl that opens the door and walks in. So funny!

Thanks to Vittoria for taking part, being a great client, and for making us smile too.
