WHAT MAKES HANNAH SMILE (APART FROM US, OF COURSE)

There's nothing we love more than people who love a good chuckle, so we catch up with another of our fabulous clients, Hannah Langford from the Royal Agricultural University (RAU) to find out what makes her smile:

So Hannah, if you had to pick a TV series (running now or in the past) what would it be and why?

As a child, I really enjoyed the BBC Chronicles of Narnia series, scary in parts at the time, but now it just makes me feel very nostalgic. Right now, it’s the Great British Sewing Bee, which is a dose of sheer joy; I wish I knew how to sew.

Oooh icy...Chronicles of Narnia would be nothing without the White Witch
What is the food that is guaranteed to make you happy? Where's the best place you know to get it?

Joe’s Icecream. Always vanilla, in a pot, with chocolate sprinkles and a wafer. Best eaten a few hundred meters from the St Helen’s road shop, overlooking Swansea bay.

What actor is the one you'd search for to make you laugh and what is it about them?

Hard to beat the late great Victoria Wood: dinnerladies was a masterpiece.

Where in the world would you like to go (with no travel or budgetary restraints!). Why there?

I’d love to go to New Zealand. We have family friends out there, but I’d also love to experience the incredible scenery.

What is it about working at the RAU that makes you happy?

There are never two days the same at the RAU, and my role working with alumni also means I get to meet a range of incredible people in some unusual places. But my absolute favourite thing to do is give grants or scholarships to the students: making a small difference to someone’s life is so rewarding, you can’t help but smile.

What's the loveliest surprise you've ever received that made you smile?

For our first wedding anniversary, our bridesmaids gave us a tin. In it were paper messages, that they’d gathered from all the guests during our reception a year earlier, and it was a lovely way to reflect on a year of marriage, and remember the day.

Favourite jokes we should know about?

Farmer Giles is so interested in conserving energy, he built a pig-powered car. He had to get rid of it, though. Every time he turned a corner, the tires squeal!

Finally - if you had to choose one video from the wall of smiley faces on the STICKY homepage what would you choose?

Gosh, so many of them! Muttley from the Wacky Races, because that’s a family favourite, and the two girls in a car with their hair blowing everywhere, because I’ve been there!

Thanks to Hannah for taking part, being a great client, and for making us smile too.
