Make It Sticky’s bid to smash SIX Guinness World Records

Yes, you read that right. Not one Guinness World Record. Not two. Six.

Above: this record looks so easy we're not even going to consider it.

Over the next few months, Make It Sticky plan to smash, obliterate, annihilate, no fewer than six Guinness World Records. We are fired up to the max for our challenges. Tim is so psyched that his personal trainer is afraid of him. Mo is like a tiger on amphetamines.

What's brought all this on? Simple; it's our recent work with the good people at Guinness World Records. After all, since we've been living, breathing, and eating in the Guinness Universe for the last few months, it's understandable that we want to carve out our own place within it.

So exactly how will we be rewriting the history books?

Our challenges

After literally minutes of thought, we think the following are best suited to the very particular set of skills that our team possesses.

  1. Most Smarties eaten in one minute, blindfold, using chopsticks
  2. Most spoons balanced on face
  3. Longest duration balancing a chair on one finger
  4. Fastest time to assemble Mr. Potato Head (team of two)
  5. Most jelly moved with a teaspoon in 30 seconds
  6. To be decided by national ballot (see below).

The sixth challenge

The sixth challenge is, in a very real sense, yours. We challenge you, our readership, to challenge us. Think of a record you'd like us to attempt and send it to us.

Now that might not sound too difficult. But what makes it a worthwhile challenge is our strict criteria for attempting records. We're essentially looking for world records that require no strength, endurance, agility, intelligence, acumen, mental fortitude, skill, practice, perseverance or effort. And your suggestions shouldn't be obscene or anatomically improbable, either. You can see how that narrows the field.

Given all that, if you've got the sheer gumption to come up with a suggested record attempt, then please send it to us. We'll have a bash at our favourite suggestion.

We'll keep you updated over the next few months with our record attempts. In the meantime, if you need your brand to take on the world, call us!
